@nixCraft the market was showing signs ahead of the midterms. It was not threatened accountability that moved the market beforehand, it was likely that the Chinese market already dropped related to AI.
It was encountering reality. With the midterms, there's much less muddy water on the topic.
That's my read. They knew they were on a clock.
And hopefully toxic debts won't be floating this time around, impacting unrelated people.
So many of IT pros/freelance journalists/artists who worked for various apps &websites have lost their jobs over the past 2/3 years to this AI bullshit. And how did these companies train their AI? They trained it on the exact data these creators produced only to fire them afterward. You cannot run a society by laying everyone off & expecting the rest of the world to just "figure out" systemic crises manufactured out of greed like mass unemployment, environmental damages & blatant copyright thef
The world is alright, lately I've been reading alot of papers in the Newspaper. But then I worked on a magazine instead, magazines are sort of like a book, I just go there to mellow out. Some magazines like Discover, Smithsonian, National Geographic, Scientific American, Astronomy. These are places were you can hang out alot of their articles are nice. I hope this doesn't leak to something political, just prefer a mellow place, not with alot of people.
