SPJ only came into the picture a while after the Epic acquisition. I believe he has been involved with the language's evolution but he's not the creator as such. my bad!

a friend has pointed out this does not have sum types, and I have noticed it also does not seem to have pattern matching. was SPJ bored of doing the conventional thing…
