@Chancerubbage No, impossible with so many representatives, but you can be sure the majority do not support his milk toast approach. This is by no means over. He will not become Speaker.

Tb be clear, #schumer could ensure he GETS the votes he needs to become #Senate majority leader by publicly stating he will pursue an an aggressive, progressive agenda while simultaneously holding the Trump administration accountable for its lawbreaking.
The #bluewave didn’t happen because anyone was excited to put up with more of that old man’s tepid bullshit. We need to push the #Democratic party to deliver.

@mister_shade02X2 @mastodonmigration if one looks at schumer’s past performance, he is not agenda driven, certainly not aggressive, has never resisted oligarchy/donors, and values comity over opposing Trump like it’s a war for the nation’s soul. Nope.
@cascheranno @mister_shade02X2 Completely agree. The next 2 years would be constant frustration trying to get through him. We need a fighter. Someone who will grab the mandate given to them by the voters and run with it.
