This digital booklet will walk you through how to create illuminated letters, from the very basics through to more detailed examples. The five pages will look at 11 different styles of illuminated letter, starting simple and getting a bit more complicated going through, but every style can be done to your own ability, as simple or as detailed as you like. There are lots of examples of finished letters too.

This digital printable booklet will talk you through how to draw beautiful Celtic knots, from the very basics through to more detailed finishing flourishes. No drawing experience necessary - worksheets are included to get you practicing, as well as re-usable template sheets that you can print out over and over to work with. You can either print the pages and draw onto them by hand, or you can work digitally e.g. on an iPad with an Apple Pencil, or in something like Krita with a drawing tablet and pen (or with the mouse if you're feeling brave!). Examples are provided throughout, with illustrations to both trace and copy, and template sheets for you to work on for drawing your original designs. As well as developing a creative skill, drawing Celtic knots provides a relaxing (and somewhat addictive!) experience as you figure out different knot patterns and shapes. This pack has ten pages; there are two pages of printable templates, two printable grid pages (one a large grid and one a smaller grid), and six tutorial pages to follow. They are sized to A4.

The booklet covers everything from talking about different pens and papers, hints and tricks to use when drawing, through to constructing simple repeating shapes up to more complicated circular patterns. Examples are provided throughout, with illustrations to both trace and copy, and template sheets for you to work on for drawing your original designs. As well as developing a creative skill, working on the tutorials in this booklet provides a relaxing experience as you focus on repetitive shape drawing. Working through one of the worksheets will take 20 - 30 minutes, so it's a great opportunity to take a breather and work on something creative. ( I've also published a pattern references booklet as a companion to this. It has hundreds of pattern variations, and pages of empty templates to draw on. It's the perfect companion to this workbook, and you can find it here > https://ko-fi.com/s/67ed5c4596 :) )
