i once had a depressive episode triggered by Death of a Salesman. and it makes me think of how inadequate the concept of reviews are because in all regards my experience consuming this work of media was very negative and not something I could recommend, yet i also overwhelmingly feel it is one of the greatest plays ever written and an important work of art. a five star system cannot account for "as a vector of emotions and thematic arguments it is outstanding, as entertainment it is horrible"
