Ah yes my daily routine of deleting sloperating systems from the @osnews submission queue.
A slop Haiku fork? Do you people have any idea how deeply offensive that is to someone like me, who was there when BeOS was an actual thing? Who used it as his main operating system? Who runs a website made great by a former BeNews editor, who also happens to be married to a Be engineer?

@thomholwerda @osnews I look forward to the two months of "we got something special here" commits made, download counts, then stuff breaks, file sizes soar, and utter disinterest.
It's also an indirect attack on Haiku: "I made these hardware drivers with Claude and tested it on (slopOS), it is Haiku compatible, so I'm submitting it for inclusion."

I'm just going to assume this is also slop. Smells like it.
I had a peer look into it (as I don't understand the first thing about C. Their conclusion was that the source code contains a sheer level os mistakes that it ought to be human, as LLM hallucinations are vastly different.
The site is very much slop, yeah (and that is why I refuse to use the thing, you either throw molotovs at LLMs or you are a techbro).
