I'm just a simple European but when you ask me what "American Greatness" should mean I would reply with
"Real American greatness is fighting for the little ones, creating equality, fairness, looking our for another"
and not:
"To rebuild a white nationalist christian America"
The latter is what the Nazi's also said
@stux unfortunately, it can be argued that America was never about "fighting for the little ones, equality, and fairness" but it's just how Americans like to see themselves and portray themselves in Hollywood movies. beside the early years of the colonisation, American greatness was built on slavery and slave labor. "official" slavery was abolished, then came segregation. that ended, was then replaced by "illegal immigration" work force below livable wages ...etc. 1/2
