For those watching US #Election2026 from outside (American voters should know this):
* President & Vice President are not up for election, now 2 years into a 4-year term. Think leap years for those elections.
* 35 US Senate seats are up for election this time. 6-year terms have 1/3 up for election every 2 years.
* 435 US House of Representatives seats are up for election. 2-year terms up for election every time.
* Each of the 50 states have varying terms for governor, legislature & local.
