Good luck today, my American friends. Luck improves with voting, even when no party is perfect. There is always a clear party to vote against.
"The polls look good so I don't need to vote"
or
"The polls look bad so why bother voting"
Notice that in both lazy rationalizations the desired effect is to not contribute
No, you #vote
You always vote
Perfection isn't on the menu
Cynicism is acceptance
You only improve our world by participating
Not participating serves nothing but entitled self-regard, and effectively says "I don't care if #fascism rules"
You *say* you care. But do you really?
The proof is participation
@CStamp
Honestly, I've always felt like Americans were more about the voting AGAINST. it's just a little more extreme this time. 😅
This year, I just voted for every Democrat and not a single Republican (even when they're uncontested). Of course, that's also what I did in 2024 and 2022 and 2020... 🤷♂️
