Is there any reason I shouldn't just recycle a 2007 era Mac Mini?
Its power consumption compared to an equally powerful Raspberry Pi seems to make it not worth plugging in again.

Is there any reason I shouldn't just recycle a 2007 era Mac Mini?
Its power consumption compared to an equally powerful Raspberry Pi seems to make it not worth plugging in again.
@nickfarr The 2007 model apparently can only do 4 GB RAM, so ... yeah.
I've been using a 2009 Mac Mini with Linux until not too long ago (8GB RAM and an SSD), which was really a better experience than a RasPi400 as a desktop... Well, as long as it didn't have to drive a screen larger than maybe 1280x1024 for anything that moves around.
Aaaanyway... Likely too new for retrocomputing, too old to be of much use.
