Grrrrr
I wanted to read the original Night Stalker novel the Kolchak movie is based on, but there's only one copy in a library system in Canada, and the University of Calgary refuses to loan it out
This is the third time that University of Calgary has a copy that they won't loan out of a mass-produced paperback novel, what the hell Calgary... and the third time it's the only copy at a library system in Canada.
Luckily, the two series that I really want to read right now I've both been able to find another book of in the library:
My local library has the complete Dungeon Crawler Carl series, so I'm just carefully managing pausing my holds, so that they don't all arrive at once, but I also don't have to wait months between each book in the series, because these are very popular right now
