Our local library is surrounded by big old houses with big old gardens, many of which seem to have apple trees - so every autumn the library has hundreds of apples which you can help yourself to: apple bonanza! We helped ourselves 😋 and these baked apples were very tasty, even though they did get a little out of hand, oops …
