How are people managing scrape-ageddon on their websites - is there an equivalent of https://pi-hole.net/ for web traffic?
My ISP is in Europe, if the is significant.

@dahukanna I'm only hosting static websites and I'm very glad about that right now.
If I had a WordPress or sth like that, I'd definitely add static caching
@aesthr it’s a static site and I’m wary of the 1,000,000 requests per minute “pillage scrapers”. I’d like to provide access to humans rather server timeouts.
@dahukanna there's not really a good way to lock out the scrapers while not hindering the humans. but at least with a static site, you're relatively safe from it being overwhelmed by scraper traffic and becoming unreachable

My websites run on a Raspberry Pi. I haven't noticed any problems.
(I've had some alerting for my .onion services recently, but the volume of traffic itself is not problematic.)
