@mWare yeah but after my experience of trying to do data recovery from a mismatched account id to the storage I don't trust it anymore. It shouldn't ever be possible for them to be mismatched but it can happen when using different auth backends

basically: if you use their internal accounts storage, it's forever. If you want to use Postgres and a custom schema, it's forever. If you want to use LDAP, it's forever. You can't migrate accounts between them if you decide you want to use a different auth method.
