I’ve been watching Democratic politicians who move toward Republican Fascism. It isn’t only the flaming example of Haley Stevens. I have seen it at the state and local level too.
It is repulsive and can be demoralizing. Watching the union of cowardice and fascism really exposes one to the basest aspects of humanity. 1/
@heidilifeldman As an outside observer unable to escape constant barrage of news about US midterms, I have to say: Your goose is cooked (my best guess). And because US has such huge influence on world stage, it's gonna hit us all like a ton of bricks.

Chief Judge Sharon Gleason of U.S. District Court in Alaska for his ruling today against the DOJ.
Judge David O. Carter whom rejected the DOJ bid to set aside some California ballots.
Chief Judge James E. Boasberg in Federal District Court in Washington who ordered the administration to provide a list of states it targeted with demands that state and local officials change how they will administer the midterm election.
US District Judge Trina Thompson who issued a sweeping emergency order halting DOJ pressure campaign on election officials.
And certainly many more.

@heidilifeldman It's a bit old but I will always give props to Chris Van Hollen for visiting Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. No one else did. At least someone understands what it means to be an American Senator.
@heidilifeldman Also LaMonica McIver, who has three pending federal assault charges for allegedy "shoving" a DHS officer, while they were arresting Mayor Ras Baraka, at the behest of Tod Blanche. All they did was exercise their authority to inspect the New Jersey ICE facilities unannounced. Her trial is two days after the election.

@heidilifeldman Connecticut Democrat here. In 2008, one of my senators, Joseph Lieberman, jumped ship and endorsed Republican John McCain. I was disappointed when Obama became president and did nothing to make Lieberman pay for his betrayal.
