Let's share this week-end's recap.
It had to be PlusBrothers fiction's first chapter publication, with sentient HIV virus showing themselves to the public again after more than a year. But Alex "Gifter" and I, just have lost a dear friend. No idea if he died for HIV related complications or if it's a disease appeared independently. He was positive since the 80s. And his loss has shocked us so we didn't feel to celebrate Halloween with our talking virus while Pigi's husband is crying. Maybe Pigi wanted us to continue anyways, but we didn't feel like to.
By chance, following the "ActivityPub" hashtag, we encountered then another platform, called Omicron Blog - https://omicron.blog so we both started to explore it, especially me. But nothing worked in #selfhosting, not at least with an already set up domain with ssl installed by YunoHost. It forced me to modify one thing called CaddyFile which forced me to give up. To be properly set up, @OmicronHQ needs a YunoHost compatible installer. We'll give it another try with another "virgin" domain, just with the ipv4 and ipv6 dns records. We're curious to test it on our hosting first, to see if our community part can be developed on fediverse together with writing-only writefreely setup.
