I have been daydreaming about gathering together a metric buttload of sticks of DRAM (psst: ancient will do, doesn't matter if it's measured in kilobytes or megabytes) and building a bonfire of them outside Altman's home, just to make him weep.
Futile, I know, and probably polluting, but so much fun!
Sam Altman said it's "quite terrible to have everybody have a bunch of the world's limited supply" of DRAM sitting in personal computers.
You know what Sam? I think that it's quite terrible to have all the billionaires have a bunch of the world's money sitting around in their personal bank accounts unused when there are people living on the streets and children going hungry.
And also, as always: Go fuck yourself Sam Altman.
