If you're going to unleash your legally dubious vibe coded mess on the world, at least own up to it and stop lying to people.

Edit: I should clarify, their claim is they didn't use LLMs at all. So they are lying regardless of to what extent Claude was involved.

@Netzblockierer They referenced other FOSS projects but not my own, even though my own is arguably the most complete documentation on the file formats they interact with (and is written in the same programming language and using the same libraries, it's an obvious choice).

I think I know why. I have a CLAUDE.md that bans LLMs for strong legal reasons. A few people tested it and found out that Claude flat out panics and refuses to interact further as soon as it sees that file, even if you just ask it to look at the code and not commit/submit.
