Without detracting from other scientific discoveries and the advances that came out of them — such as Pasteur's germ theory, which led to antibiotics and is still activating research breakthroughs — vaccines to prevent disease and now, mRNA vaccines to both prevent and cure disease — the #Voyager spacecraft and the half century mission to learn from them and keep them runningy has got to rank among humanity's greatest scientific achievements. Understated and elegant.
