692000 Piano trio. Dense, polyrhythmic, hypnotic. 692000 is a piano trio led by Geneva-based pianist and composer Johann Bourquenez - who co-founded Plaistow (2007-2017) - with drummer Lionel Friedli and bassist Massimo Pinca. The music draws on a wide reference field: the rhythmic architecture of Meshuggah, the depth and sonic textures of Scorn and Rrose, the minimal elegance of Reich, a few harmonic colours from Debussy. Piano, double bass, drums, no electronics: music that grooves while seeking to open a breach in space-time. Johann Bourquenez - piano Massimo Pinca - double bass Lionel Friedli - drums ===
