@ai6yr Do they both have the same ketamine supplier too, so they both feel like invincible bro-gods or something?
I lately heard about a large software company doing something similar, shifting everything over to a new language at the same time.
I had thought it might be a uniquely bad choice.
Apparently not.
@michael_w_busch @ai6yr there is no choice so bad that somebody will not try to get on that bandwagon
@ai6yr how to destroy your company without really trying
@ai6yr I'm removing the last piece of Cisco equipment from my network late next week when its replacement arrives.
Seems I timed it perfectly.
@ai6yr I hope they deploy all that code with only LLMs doing the checking. On a Friday. At 4:59 pm.
@ai6yr <assuring no shares related to Cisco> 🫣
@ai6yr this seems really weird. did they go to the same school or something? "you're a junior member of a tech startup that's nothing to do with networking, perfect!"
@ai6yr What I don't understand is how C-suite and project managers don't recognize coding LLM tools as just another form of the mythical man month.
Prior knowledge compressed into templated answers even at a ratio of a million-to-one will not produce quality code a million times faster.

@ai6yr Lets hope the look aid takes them out
