It's ridiculous how good Claude Sonnet is at Rust coding, I have been guiding it toward very very secure Linux service creation and it's just knocking it out of the park.

@sun With cargo or gccrs ?
@mangeurdenuage Cargo, minimal dependencies.
I had a Linux MCP with Internet access, written in Go, that runs on a device that only runs things as root. So, I am having it rewritten in Rust, heavily utilizing Linux kernel sandboxing, breaks the work into least-privilege processes communicating over ipc, etc.
@sun rust's main advantage will be its downfall with slop flooding the crates registry
The compiler guiding your hand not to fuck up in c++ ways works for any code author ...
