my teacher thinks im a soprano with a blocked upper range because i dont sound like a mezzo so by process of elimination soprano is the only remaining possibility!
given most women are sopranos, it is indeed the most statistically likely possibility

honestly at this point i don't care about the label but we have spent most of the last few months trying to "unblock my upper range" and its like, i have a whole rest of my voice too, u kno
i suppose she is treating it like an emergency because a soprano who cant sing higher than E5 is a shitty soprano.
what if i was a shitty soprano that sounded really good in a lower tessitura tho?
