RubyConf Australia specifically stating that AI/LLM proposals will not be accepted for the 2027 conference is bold and I for one applaud it.
My entire career has been focused on empowering people in the open source community to speak up for their values and stand firm on their ethical boundaries. You can agree or disagree with the conference organizers’ values and principles, but this is what it looks like to live by them.
