I played Dirty Secrets last night and had hella fun.
Our investigator felt like he stalled out about halfway through - allowing the rest of the table to go incredibly hard. He spent four scenes trying to report the crime to the police and getting stonewalled, beaten up, and dealing with broken systems.
One of the hard parts was getting everyone to push agenda and narrate. Things like "ok - I want a scene about finding out who the license plate belongs to" and trying to turn that into "what's the scene where you track down the person who the license plate belongs to".
The fact we don't control who did the actual crime meant that the actual criminal which orchestrated everything was the police officer - not the women who the investigator suspected.
