#Columnly is a UFO in the Fediverse. It has grown a lot in just a few days and many people are happy with it. I think #Fedilab still has its place thanks to its in-app features. But congrats to Dansup for building the app he wanted to use and sharing it with others.
@apps Columnly looks good on mobile, and has a healthy set of appearance settings, but lacks a Fedilab feature that's important to me: "Remove left margin."
I increase my font size so much to help me read, I can't spare all that wasted space under the profile picture!
@apps Columnly is just a web client, and isn't half as powerful as Fedilab is! I still prefer native apps on the go, but as I spent a lot of time in front of a laptop or desktop screen, I needed my own solution.
@dansup@apps to be fair it’s looking and feeling nice on iOS browser. Though tomorrow I should be back on Android once again (GrapheneOS) so suspect Fedilab will be finding a space on there.
