How come my podcast app isn't torrents

How come my podcasts are full of adverts that the person who makes the podcast doesn't even make any money from, they're often just to pay for the server where the MP3 files live, I download 20-odd pods at a time and then they just sit there on my phone which is always on and always connected to the internet and charged and doing nothing overnight

My phone could send those podcasts. Podcasts man could put the podcasts on his computer and send it to like ten people and it'd cost him nothing and then they'd seed them like torrents and the downloads would be faster and podcast man wouldn't have to do the ocarina pause for an advert to sell me shit and make him no money.
