I've been to Brazil before and it was one of the most racist places I've ever been to in life so I know I can't live there full time

I mean like Jim Crow style racism that only got mitigated because we were American Blacks

Literally watched the glares turn into smiles as soon as they heard our accents (which is an experience I've had in multiple countries to be fair)

But man, the Black trans folks in Brazil are some fierce motherfuckers, I be seeing Black trans folks of all genders there carve out spaces for themselves in blood and I have so much respect for it
