When I see somebody post on how useful they find generative "AI", an angry, defensive post is sure to follow like clockwork
Any circulation of a pro-"AI" post on a site with artists, writers, illustrators or the like, will reach the ears of somebody whose life has been severely hurt by the tech
Given the scale of the harm being done, angry responses are basically inevitable.
And kinda fair, tbh

Go to a factory pub and talk about how much you made from shutting the local factory down, you're going to get punched in the teeth. The witnesses will all think you deserved it
Brag about "AI" near people who know illustrators, translators or copywriters and you'll get the social media equivalent

@baldur Happens a lot on X. I Follow two people who are anti-AI and have gotten less work due to it. OTOH, I also Follow people who use AI to create images.
*shrug*
And anyone who has AI write anything is a tasteless uncircumcised heathen who deserves the ridicule the “writing” provokes.
