Expected hold time with a bank, about 50 minutes for something pretty basic but can't be accomplished online.
I seem to have a memory of my Dad not only being bale to actually talk to someone at his branch but also being able to call the branch manager and having a first name basis conversation.
Might've been a fever dream...
@Bwacton Ya actually there are a few choices for sure.
@mike luckily I can still call my bank and talk to someone or they'll call me back in 10 minutes or so

@FaithinBones Oh that's why. I'm dealing with one of five big chartered Canadian banks. Upside the Canadian banking system is super stable and basically will never fail (If it does you have bigger problems than money), downside they don't care about you, like at all.
An update to my last post: I am shockingly really enjoying the lo-fi ambient jazz hold music.

be thankful it's not interrupted every few minutes by commercials like my financial institution.
