@ivory on Mac, adding columns is cool, but with 2+ columns visible, the slider shows '1' as the selection again, which is unexpected representation of state

@ctietze Try restarting the app and it should be fixed? There is a window bug that appears on occasion that we need to fix.
@ivory ok this is actually broken in different ways; when I set '3' it adds 3 and now the window is comically wide (screenshot taken from Expose)
