What happens when the AI agents hack our bank account information the way "Claude" hacked voter information in Georgia?

I just got a letter from my bank saying "do not allow AI agents to have your payment information for any of your accounts."

Full stop. Just don't use any agents. It's dangerous.

It didn't contain additional language saying they won't protect you if they do, but I wonder if that could be next.

I wonder if other banks are doing the same.

Maybe they will ban them.

It seems reasonable that, if an agent makes a financial transaction, it ought to be identified as such, no?

@mastodonmigration I truly hope it would/will be that easy, but I no longer trust that the AI companies can't simply buy whatever verdicts they desire from any judge they target.

@courtcan We need to do the same thing Lula is saying they will do in Brazil. Regulate these industries and impose strict government oversight and criminal penalties on such illegal coercive action. Unless we can restore the rule of law, all is lost. But we have a chance. We will know more after the coming election.
