Airline folks: passengers understand that mechanical issues can delay flights. What's really annoying is when you give out zero updates while everyone cools their heels in long lines at the gate.

@dangillmor yes, would much prefer they prioritize fixing the aircraft over being on time, but it's nice to at least get estimates about timing
"Sorry folks, the wing fell off on landing and we've run out of duct tape." is probably a bad update :)
