This is the level of decision making that most profoundly affects our daily lives, modulo Doug Ford’s special attention to the city that did not elect him mayor.

The two leading mayoral candidates are polling within margin of error. Their existing relationships and voting histories on city council are significantly different.

In my ward, the top 3 candidates are (by their materials): incumbent working for you, law and order, social supports and root causes. My own choice would have been easier if we’d had ranked ballots with transferable vote.

I continue to hate FPTP.
