@neil omg it is a trope throughout the world in the context of all kinds of porn, from the lightest sitcom entries to the grimmest, darkest entries. It stands in for child porn. Children are dressed as adults, adults as children… plausible deniability for pedophilia.

I definitely remember adults being creepy about Catholic school uniforms in both Argentina and the US. All the websites for adult funtime wear have at least one "schoolgirl uniform" of a plaid skirt and knee socks. I honestly thought it was more of a US thing until this very moment.

@neil I see it in the US too occasionally. I think it's a way of basically semiotically referencing youth while not actually having stuff be too much like "this is an actual child" see also: things that reference "the babysitter" and that sort of thing.
