Anywayyyyy, this is a roundabout way of saying that TX republican GOTV targeting is deeply fucked, and they forgot I don't live there anymore. Which is why today they told me, specifically, that Greg Abbot is going to be campaigning there the Friday before election day. That's where he's spending his time.

This is hilarious because lubbock is an automatic win for them. They couldn't lose it if they tried (although they are trying (lmao)). But they're so desperate to get their base to actually go vote, that this is how they're spending their time and money. They're not even trying to suppress votes anymore (I mean, by the standards of tx elections). They're desperately begging their people to vote at all because they ran a slate of historically corrupt and unlikeable assholes on a campaign of white grievance at the same time they doubled everyone's grocery bills, and nearly tripled the price of gas. And this was all right after they cut their margins down to nothing to try and cheat out 2 or 3 more house seats.
