My ex had a pet peeve about not eating or drinking anything someone else had tried first. So after every argument, during the cooldown period, if they asked me to get them a drink, I'd secretly take a sip before handing it over.

@fesshole - Why not take a silent sip of what they asked for in a mixed drink. They were probably arguing about recent politics. Usually politics and friends don't mix.
