I'm looking for a Toot. Some amazing writer I follow had a profoundly insightful short story published and shared a link to go read it online. It was about people giving up everything to enter a perfect virtual reality and how the corporation offering it was amassing tremendous power as people literally signed over everything to be plugged in. It was about how, even when all that, it still wasn't enough for the corporation.

Can anyone help me find the story or the author? I can't remember her name and I have so many things bookmarked I can't find it or her.
