Someone had recommended a lightweight, super simple to use, free open source video compressor app to me here & I had used it for awhile but it's disappeared from my phone & I never removed it?? I don't remember the name of the app - think it was just basic, Compressor?
I would like to use it again but don't know why it just vanished from my phone?
Can anyone recommend another free lightweight video compression app?
@SerialWhiner That's the one!!! I reinstalled it. Stellar free app!
handbrake is decent but it is for computer not phone
Does anyone know why the video compressor app vanished from my phone when I didn't remove it? I am not a techy person. I'm boggled.
@PhoenixSerenity
I dont know but a few things I can think of. Maybe it was removed from the app store because of some issue and the app store removed it from your phone when that happened? Maybe it is off the home screen but actually still in the full app list? Maybe it is incompatible with a recent system update?
I've used FFshare a few times, does the job! It's aimed at compressing and immediately sharing a video.
Install Fedizen

@PhoenixSerenity A long time ago I saved a compressor app name in my notes app. I think it may be the one someone recommended to you.
Did a search for "Josh Atticus" in Google Play Store (I think you mentioned using an android phone) and this compressor app is still there. Last updated October 5th. Maybe the update made it disappear on your phone?
