Actually we do have a way to do this in the app although it is not a button.

You can click the home button in the tab bar below and it will take you to the top of the feed, from there you can pull to refresh on any of the feeds

The button is also made in the web version of the app so adding it as optional won't be too difficult, but for design purposes I think it fits better like this
