Two zines sit on the cover of a record sleeve, the image a blown-up colour photograph of a colourful bowl of ice cream, along with three black & white pinback buttons. One zine, Books That I Read in 2026, Part 1: January 1st - June 30th, is a purple quarter size zine. The title is set in a graphic circle in rounded, seventies-style bubble letters (Cooper* in black weight), and the subtitle and byline set in a tall, elegant serif font. The cover features a cropped illustration of a pile of books with a candlestick running over the top left border, an etching of a woman holding a book next to a child (Sybil holding a book with a child at left by Giuseppe Canale) and a cropped segment of a nude study by Kenyon Cox featuring a naked woman with bared breasts holding a book in her lap. The overall presentation is minimal and slightly askew. The other, Gender Machine Broke: What My Dysphoria Felt Like Before I Knew It Was Dysphoria, is an 1/8th size zine on peach paper. The title is typeset in an old-timey western letterpress font, with the subtitle set in a smaller letterpress style grotesque, underlined, with the byline written in a scratchy handwritten font. On the right side of cover, miscellaneous illustrated gears and circular machine parts overlapping. Button descriptions, image one. Cracker-Eating Bitch: Black with white text and image. Image is an overexposed photograph of four overlapping saltines. Text, in lowercase, angled, blown-out sans serif white text, reads: "cracker-eating bitch" Posting Through It: Stark high-contrast illustration with hands (coming from beyond the border) typing on a black typewriter. Heavy grotesque typefaces above read "posting through it" with vertical lines above and below "through it." Crankin' It: blackletter style medieval/renaissance type reading "Behind a crenellation straight up "crankin' it" and by "it..." I mean my crossbow!" An illustration of a hand-cranked crossbow and a loose bolt line the right side.
