Shoutout to all my friends and former co-workers as they deal with the upcoming PHPocalypse.

While I no longer get paid to do stuff with PHP it is still a great tool for building web sites and would use it if asked (I am currently using TypeScript and Python and Go)

Software is hard. Building secure software is even harder. Your favourite programming language also has security vulnerabilities you don’t know about. Don’t be smug and think “mine is the superior language”.
