I'm getting happyish with my recording of this little song about childhood Aotearoa New Zealand summers.
I've now recorded it in its entirely three times. It is very deliberately simple in arrangement and execution.
I did share it ten weeks or so ago when I first wrote it.
@dgar When my marriage broke up I lost the Yamaha acoustic guitar I'd bought when I was seventeen. It was a complicated time.
I knew the owner of a local guitar store. When I had some money of my own I went in and started testing guitars. I was looking at Yamahas and even Martins, but Alastair pulled one out and said "try this". I loved it.
It's an SX, not a brand I knew or would have considered. And it was the same price as an entry level Yamaha.

@dgar It's miked with a Gerzon array; two matched small diaphragm condensers, coincident at 120° and aligned with the neck/body joint at right angles to the strings.
