I think the really interesting thing here is that it's being floated *at all*, especially in Politico of all places. The media and "serious pundit" narrative for so, so long has been "complete and total immunity from consequence for the abusive ruling class".
So it's quite startling to see heretofore-supine Dems even broaching the *idea* of consequences, instead of useless hand-wringing. And startling to see a change in the media narrative.
(Goodness, the poll numbers must be abysmal...)

Musk did say he would go to prison if Trump wasn't re-elected.
Why would he think he's going to prison? Did he do crimes?
