@daringfireball The carriers shouldn’t be charging for it AT ALL!

@daringfireball do they actually anything each month (have a cost) to justify this charge?

@daringfireball Is this that different than paying $10 a month to have my Apple Watch connected to a cellular network with my phone number?

@daringfireball I’ll do the e-sim swap w my Air and the Duo. I would switch often between the 17 and 17 Pro and after a bunch of times, it would not work and I’d have to go to an AT&T store and get a little physical e-sim code thingy to “unflag” my account or something? So there was a limit on how many times I could go back and forth. I’m about to find out if that’s still the case.

Also if anyone has info about that please advise? AT&T employee or something? They were always confused in store.
