I was re-watching some episodes of the Series "Air Disasters". Each episode has the history of some huge aircraft catastrophe. And many of them would work well in the TTRPG Traveller, especially with the small free trader starships, because their layout and issues approximate an airplane.
In S9 E5 "Fatal Delivery" a cargo of burning lithium batteries fills the cockpit with black smoke thick enough so you can't see the instruments.
An Inflatable vision unit was made.
