Why some people (including me) are spending more time on Twitter
Momentum seems to be shifting back to Twitter/X, and I have been feeling it too. I don't love it for all the obvious reasons, but it is the best place to keep track of what is happening in AI

I understand the need to use the bad places. but the arguments for being there never amount to more than that's where the audience is or the important conversations are happening there. which should mean that all the people with followers there who admit that they'd rather not be, could join together to move the conversation and their many followers to networks that are free of those problems. that can't be bought and changed someday. people are there for them, not the platform itself.
