@davidrevoy While reading the comic, I almost expected to see the Avian Intelligence bursting into flames in the last panel :-)
@davidrevoy It's like customs asking you if you swear the answers are truthful. It might seem silly but you can't say that you thought it was just some worthless form. You explicitly perjured yourself and if nothing else, they can sue for that.

@davidrevoy AI is predicated entirely on a violation of consent, as are so many other things. It's always amazing when people go out of their way to prove that they can do something shitty. Like, congrats, you've proven that you're a jerk.

@davidrevoy Drawing a line means little if you lack the power to enforce your boundaries. Aesthetics is great for art but won’t do for IRL AFK.
Maybe she should just cast fireball on every avian intelligence she encounters? If the bird burns it can’t work, can it?
@oberstenzian Drawing a line is a good start. It's a small step, but a start. It also puts under the spotlight those who cross the line and gives them an air of being rapists. Not bad.
It also signal other in a community about what's ok or not, and help to shape a bubble of users with the same interest and goal. Not bad too.
Then, larger companies, politics, or all those needing to seduce the mass to get power adopt these new norms, and produce the legal tool to enforce it. That the end goal.
