@davidrevoy While reading the comic, I almost expected to see the Avian Intelligence bursting into flames in the last panel :-)
@davidrevoy It's like customs asking you if you swear the answers are truthful. It might seem silly but you can't say that you thought it was just some worthless form. You explicitly perjured yourself and if nothing else, they can sue for that.
@davidrevoy try to write Nintendo on the No AI mark
If it was really useless, they wouldn't spend time to tell us.
After all, their main power is the narrative than everybody is backing them.
@davidrevoy AI is predicated entirely on a violation of consent, as are so many other things. It's always amazing when people go out of their way to prove that they can do something shitty. Like, congrats, you've proven that you're a jerk.
@davidrevoy ....wait, where is the "banana"-bit in the data that was left for the AI to injest?
@davidrevoy She should have poisoned the dataset ✨️
@davidrevoy Love the new character design. Hate the way she completely ignores Cepper's wishes and says "AI can't train on it? Bet." though. Great Comic.
@VANTABlack2000 @davidrevoy I mean, it's realistic to how real-life AI bros love to prove that they can do things that they've been asked not to.
@fluffy @davidrevoy I know. I meant more I hate the action not the writing if that makes sense. Sorry for the confusion.
@davidrevoy do it, poison the AI well >:)
@davidrevoy I love the turtle neck tattoo. :)
@johnnythan Thank you! I wish I could have enough room for details to also add some elephants and a disc 😅 #discworld
@davidrevoy PTerry would have loved that.
The calculation of the area A of the ring of fire is correct:
A=π(R²-r²)
Nice detail to the cartoon!
@davidrevoy I love the scholar's contempt turned pensive consideration
@davidrevoy Drawing a line means little if you lack the power to enforce your boundaries. Aesthetics is great for art but won’t do for IRL AFK.
Maybe she should just cast fireball on every avian intelligence she encounters? If the bird burns it can’t work, can it?
@oberstenzian Drawing a line is a good start. It's a small step, but a start. It also puts under the spotlight those who cross the line and gives them an air of being rapists. Not bad.
It also signal other in a community about what's ok or not, and help to shape a bubble of users with the same interest and goal. Not bad too.
Then, larger companies, politics, or all those needing to seduce the mass to get power adopt these new norms, and produce the legal tool to enforce it. That the end goal.
@davidrevoy I hope there is poison in the data set
@OtterMatic I'll not spoil next episode
@davidrevoy @OtterMatic My expectations were successfully subverted when the Avian Intelligence did not glitch out and crash when scanning the symbol. :-)
@davidrevoy interesting. To say about your position is important even if you can't to protect your opinion
