After 30+ years, I'm officially done with Linux. I'll be working my ass off to get myself onto a BSD. I'll still be running Linux until I can make this happen.

I'm running an old Debian Stable kernel in my office box that is AI-free. I stopped updating it and I'm gonna disable Internet access on it.
My daily driver laptop is gonna be BSD. I looked into this when I first heard rumblings that Linus was embracing AI. I had hoped I wouldn't have to switch, but now..... welp.

@chadmccullough Same here. This December will be the 30th year anniversary of my Linux adventures. It will be the last anniversary of daily driving it too, and I'm in the process of moving to a BSD-based system.
(There's no NixOS-like declarative BSD in a usable state, and I don't want Nix, nor nixpkgs, so I'm building my own on top of NetBSD.)
